Clean room, beautiful view, with a helpful front desk staff made my overnight stay enjoyable, as I appreciated the free parking and accessible hiking trails nearby.

The staff was incredibly accommodating during our stay, always ready to assist with recommendations for nearby attractions.
The view of the river was completely blocked by bushes and trees from our ground floor room, which was quite disappointing considering the motel’s name.

The staff was incredibly accommodating during our stay.
The view of the river was completely blocked by bushes and trees from our ground floor room, which was quite disappointing considering the motel’s name. Additionally, the porch overlooking the river was a splinter nightmare. it didn't feel safe to use at all. The decor in our suite was also outdated, making the entire experience less enjoyable than I had hoped.

8/10
Oh man, the suite was, like, super spacious and had a full kitchen which was a total lifesaver! I sipped coffee while watching ducks swim by from my little balcony—so peaceful! And Judy? She was, like, the sweetest, so helpful with all my questions. The only bummer? The decor felt a bit old-school, but it was cozy!

Staying at Milford Motel On The River felt like a cozy retreat. The room was spacious, complete with a full kitchen that served our family well. Sipping coffee on the small deck while watching the ducks pass by was truly delightful. The view of the Penobscot River from our balcony added a nice touch to the stay. The beds were comfortable, and the decor had an appealing old-school charm. Jayne, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcomed and was always ready to help with recommendations for nearby restaurants. However, the internet connection was unreliable during our visit, which made it difficult to plan our days. We noticed some parts of the room felt dated, and there were some cluttered areas in the kitchen. Overall, the peaceful atmosphere and attentive service made it a memorable stay, despite a few areas needing attention.

Spent one night in a cozy standard room with a small kitchenette and really enjoyed the fresh towels and comfy bed. The relaxing atmosphere made it great to unwind after a long day. There are barbecue facilities and a nice area to chill outside. The decor felt a bit dated, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the experience at all! 😊
